Story 1. Parrot Tries to Put Out a Fire


A lovely parrot flew into a mountain.
All the animals in the forest were friendly and welcomed the new visitor.

After one month, Parrot went back to his home.
One day, a fire was blazing in the forest.
 Parrot saw it from a distance and he said anxiously,  
 What would Parrot do to help his friends?



Story 2. The Orangutan Loves to Drink



Orangutans loved to drink and wear wooden shoes.

At that time, a hunter planned to catch an orangutan. 

He put a lot of wine and many wooden shoes that were tied together with rope on the roadside, then hid in the forest and waited for the orangutans.
One orangutan said, “Look, it’s wine! Fragrant wine! Let’s have a drink!”
After a while, one of the orangutans put on a pair of wooden shoes. 
He said,
All the orangutans quickly went to put on wooden shoes.

To Do Harm to Something by Being Over-Enthusiastic

 
Once upon the time, there was a farmer who was concerned about his gain. 
He would go to the farm and check whether the seedlings were growing or not all the time. 

 
Suddenly, he got a good idea. 
He thought if he pulled all the seedlings up, they should grow faster. Moreover, he could reap them quicker.


So, he spent the whole day to pull them up.

When he came home, he told this good idea to his family. But his son got nervous about his act.
